Philip Harris MSC (Manual Therapy) MMACP MCSP HPC
Philip Harris qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1999 and after 2 years in the NHS begain work in a rehabilitation centre enabling him to develope his skills as a physiotherapist and in exercise rehabilitation. In addition Philip also begain to persue his area of specialist interest - sports injuries. In 2014 Philip gained his MSC in Manual therapy becoming a member of the MMACP
Philips roles in sports have included national and championship rugby, European and World championship Judo with the Great Britain Paralympic and junior squads. Commonwealth Games as physio to the Shooters and Rugby 7's squads. In 2007 Philip had the honour of becoming head physiotherapist to the Barbarians RFC.
In 2012 Philip was selected as one of the Physiotherapists to treat the worlds elite at the Olympic and Paralympic games. This included the slalom Canoe and Kayak teams in the Olympics and multiple sports in the Polyclinic at the Paralympic Games. Philip says " My experience as a Games Maker was both memorable and invaluble."
Philip's success at the Olympics and understanding of Mutiple Elite sports lead him to be selected as a Physiotherapist for 'Team England' at the Commonwealth Games in 2014. Working in the team HQ as well as at competition and training venues, Philip gained experience working with Power lifting, Judo, Diving, Gymnastics and netball.
In 2006 Philip Establised Harris Healthcare Solutions Ltd and set up a series of Physiotherapy and Pilates Clinics. Since its conception Philip has proudly assembled a skilled and experienced Physiotherapy team that strives to deliver quality physiotherapy that is local, friendly and professional and accessible to all.
The success of the business and its growth was enhanced in 2014 with the joining forces of his wifes skills as a Master Pilates Teacher creating 'Harris Mind and Body'.
