What if
my treatment plan isn't effective?
This will be discussed in detail with you.
You might need to be referred back to your GP or Consultant for further investigation

What will my treatment plan look like
First you will have an initial assessment
This can last between 30 - 45 minutes
You will have chance to explain your concern
Your physio will assess the area of concern and ask some questions
Your Physio will then explain their findings and share their knowledge
Together you will agree a treatment plan to meet your goals
You will then book follow up appointments
These can last between 20 - 30 minutes
You will receive ongoing treatment & discuss the development of your treatment plan
You will need to exercises at home as prescribed by your physio in-between appointments

How to use your private health insurance:

Consult your policy documents for further information
-
Attain an authorisation number to give to Harris Mind & Body (HMB)
-
Your authorisation number will then be used to set up a billing process
-
If you don't have an authorisation number, you will need to pay for your treatment
-
HMB will give you a receipt , so that you have the chance to claim the fee back.

With an authorisation number , HMB will bill your insurer directly.
-
Any excess linked to your policy will need to be paid by you directly to HMB

How to prepare for your appointment:
Consider your clothing, so that your physio can easily see the area of concern
You may need to wear shorts - and ladies a strapy top top depending on your area of concern
If your physio is treating you for a back problem, you may need to undress to your underwear
If you have concerns, it is possible for a chaperone to also attend your appointments
